The Anthropology
minor is an interdisciplinary inquiry of the nature and meaning of the
concept of culture. It is also designed to complement a wide array of majors
such as education, business, social work, legal studies and communication.
Requirements for minor in Anthropology.
Total of 21 credits including:
ANTH 112 Intro to Anthropology (3) 3 credits
ANTH 315 Cultural Anthropology (3) 3 credits
ANTH 390 Qualitative Methods (3) 3 credits
ANTH 499 Independent Study (4) 3 credits
Nine of the 21 credits must be at the 300 level or above. A total of no more than nine credits may be taken from among cross-listed courses.
