The NORTHLAND YOUTH MUSIC PROGRAM (N.Y.M.P.) began in 1999 as the Duluth/Superior Area Youth Wind Band Program. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization funded by our tuition cost, grants, and donations. This program was started by parents and community members to offer an affordable, high quality, extracurricular music program that had been previously out of reach to many of our students because of monetary constraints.
