Often confused with a “food shelf,” Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank is not a local food shelf. In fact, it is the region’s only “food bank” and rescuer of nationally and regionally donated food for distribution to non-profit programs throughout NE Minnesota and
NW Wisconsin. Each year, Second Harvest supplies over 4.1 million pounds of food – enough food for 3.3 million meals – to the areas food shelves, soup kitchens, shelters and other nonprofit programs. |
