Here's a bit of info about the events we throw and the trips we take.
Every year, Street Level kicks-off the Fall Semester by throwing a block party called "SLAM Fest" for the UW-Superior campus (Street Level's Annual Music Festival). The evening features a concert with multiple bands, henna tattoos, a photo booth, and more. We try to select artists with great talent as well as great heart. In addition to the music, this is a great chance to meet other students and build new relationships.
There is no cover charge for the evening and we're always working to bring something new to the festival.
Every summer we take a week long in-country mission trip to a Christian music festival to help run a full service coffee house with our sister branch of Street Level at UW-Stout in Menomonie, WI. The week consists of group devotions, intense service, good music, and great coffee. Get ready to form deep relationship, work hard, and watch your relationship with God go to the next level.
All of the money raised during the week it invested in local and overseas missions. A portion of the money always goes to Shofar Missions and Shofar Learning Center in Cebu, Philippines. Shofar is an overseas mission center affiliated with Jesus Fellowship of Believers church. It helps support and serve local ministries in the Philippines and it operates a K-12 Christian school in the mountian communities of Cebu.
