Rapid Climate
Change & Energy Strategy
The
dominate source of energy for human society is
fossil fuel. The reason for rapid climate change is
the combustion of fossil fuel. A strategy for
reducing fossil fuel dependency is therefore often
also a strategy for mitigating rapid climate change.
Rapid Climate Change and Energy Strategies are
employed by business, government or other
organization to reach these twin goals.

important concepts in climate science. The
document they produced - Climate Literacy: The
Essential Principles of Climate Science -
reflects a broad and current effort to define
climate literacy.
