The purpose/mission of the Literary Journal is to enrich the Liberal Arts campus of the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) through the diverse field of the Literary Arts. The Literary Journal is open to any and all students who show an interest in literature, publication and/or related activities, regardless of his or her major. By publishing a literary journal once per academic year, the Literary Journal will provide an opportunity for University of Wisconsin students, as well as other area college and high school students, to receive recognition and achieve publication of their various works of fiction, poetry and criticism.
Membership is open to any student at the University of Wisconsin – Superior. We plan on publishing the journal annually in the Spring. Spring 2012 was our first publication, and we held a release party in April to celebrate the release. Many authors came to the release party and read their work.
